"A Loving Knowledgeable Staff!"

Colorado canine orthopedics was not recommended to me by my vet, but I stumbled upon their website during my frantic search for help, into what I thought was my 7 year old daschund/chihuahua luxating patellas. When I arrived for my appointment I was so worried because my vet quoted me over $5000 for the surgery and wanted to keep my Zoey for over 3 days after surgery! I knew I needed a second opinion, but didn't know what to expect!

"Sachi’s Surgeon was Awesome"

My dog Ms. Sachi, tore her ACL on a Wednesday. I phoned the Colorado Canine Orthopedics hospital, in Colorado Springs, and they got Sachi in and performed surgery to repair it on that Friday. When I picked her up she was looking much happier and in better shape, given that she just had this major surgical procedure. The people here are utterly fantastic!

"Treated Like the Million $$$ Dog She Is!"

Dear Colorado Canine Orthopedics
Two years ago our Shorthaired Pointer black lab mix "Juicy Fruit" started to limp after playing ball and unfortunately was diagnosed with a torn ACL by our local vet, our vet referred us to multiple facilities in Denver that could handle this type of injury and we visited three of them. The visits we made in Denver made us more skeptical about the surgery and in no way comforted us into letting our pup be operated on.
While researching online about the injury type, surgery types, risks and rehab we found Colorado Canine Orthopedics, I was almost shocked that there was an actual orthopedic specialist for dogs. I watched the video online, made the call and set up the consultation. From Juicy Fruit walking in tail wagging (usually locks up all four legs at the door at any animal facility) to the clean facility, friendly staff and extensive information provided by Dr. Bauer, Juicy Fruit fell asleep on Dr. Bauer's leg while he was explaining our options. All of this made it very easy to feel ok about trusting our dog's well being with Colorado Canine Orthopedics, we called the next day and scheduled the surgery.

Dear Colorado Canine Orthopedics -
Dr. Riecks came in on Christmas Eve to check my dog, then called in the operating and clerical staff that day to operate. He personally came in on Christmas day to check and release 'Buster' to me. He also called while he was on vacation to respond to my call. I have told this to many friends and know of at least one who has used your facility. If not for him my dog would have been put down. - Carol
"The Bounce was Back in His Walk"

Dear Dr. Bauer -
Just this week as I took my boy for a walk, I noticed that his tail was up and the bounce was back in his walk. He was prancing again! He is so beautiful when his heart is light, and there's no pain and he's king of the world. I haven't seen that in such a long time and it filled my heart with joy. I cannot thank you enough for your kindness and generosity toward my boy and me. May you and yours be blessed as abundantly as you've blessed us.

Dear Dr. Bauer & Staff,
Thank you so much for the tender loving care that you gave Moxie during her second surgery. I know that you have been great to her because despite the surgery she enjoys visiting with all of you there - and she definately knows the treat jar! See you in a few weeks for her x-rays! With warmest regards,
Chuck, Mona & Moxie
